Certified Payroll is a Federal and/or State form submitted weekly to the agency overseeing a government or State contract. The form lists every employee, their wages, the benefits they're entitled to, the type of work they did, and the hours they worked. It shows withholding's and gross wages and includes a statement of compliance. This document is submitted along with all Labor Compliance documentation to keep both the Awarding Body and Subcontractor in compliance.

The Davis-Bacon Act requires interviews to determine if the contractor is complying with the Federal Davis-Bacon prevailing wages.
